The owners of ABR Events are avid animal lovers. Whitney has been working with Humane Societies as an employee and/or volunteer for over 10 years. She has fostered hundreds of animals for different shelters. Eric quickly got involved as well after they met in 2007. Currently, they are working with a mortgage broker to purchase a farm in metro Atlanta in January of 2011 that will be turned into a nonprofit event facility for weddings. Rescued animals will be housed and cared for as well on the property.
ABR Events has recently become a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established to fund the rescue of unwanted pets in metro Atlanta.
